Ernest Llewellyn Hampshire (British, b. 1882)

Ernest Llewellyn Hampshire was a landscape painter in oil and watercolour, etcher and architect. He was born at East Dulwich on 16th June 1882. He studied at Clapham School of Art, Heatherley’s, the Central School of Arts and Crafts, and in Cornwall under J. Noble Barlow. He exhibited between 1907 and 1938 at the RA, R.I., R.O.I., in the provinces and at the Paris Salon and also at the Walker Art Gallery.
