Anne Jope was born in Corfe Mullen, Dorset. She trained at Ealing College
of Art and at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, where she learned
wood engraving from Blair Hughes-Stanton. Her work has been widely exhibited
in Great Britain and she has illustrated a number of books with her wood
engravings.
