John Harrold (British b. 1947)

John Harrold took over as illustrator of Rupert the Bear after a low spell in the 1970's when a series of inappropriate artists drew Rupert rather indifferently, the highly-skilled work of John Harrold then appeared. He has now established himself firmly as the worthy successor of Alfred Bestall.
