INSCRIBED ON THE HALF-TITLE BY NORMAN HARTNELL, plain and colour plates of costume designs, those reproducing pencil designs printed on pastel coloured leaves, blue cloth with gilt vignette and lettering to upper cover and spine, edges slightly bowed, pictorial dust-jacket (in sleeve), minor shelfwear (in protective sleeve). An inscribed copy of an attractive work, the autobiography of Norman Hartnell, dressmaker by appointment to the Queen and Queen Mother. The dust-jacket was designed by Hartnell for this work and the book is illustrated throughout with the author's own sketches. £45.00
