Paul Hawdon trained at St Martin's School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools of Art. He has exhibited widely in England and Europe and obtained the prix de Rome in Printmaking (1988-1989). His drawings and etchings have received wide acclaim, most recently in the 2002 Royal Academy Summer exhibition. His work has also been shown at Henry Sotheran's in London, the Ashmoleon Museum, Oxford and at Kettle's Yard in Cambridge. Examples of his work are held in the Metropolitan Museum of New York and in the art collection of Andersen Consulting.
