Geraldine Girvan was trained at Edinburgh College of Art where she
trained under Elizabeth Blackadder. Her work is bold and vibrant following
a long tradition of Scottish painters such as Elizabeth Blackadder
and Anne Redpath who are both known for their strong and colourful
work. Her work creates a lush atmosphere of domestic and rural luxury.
