Bill Everett is a retired Addenbrooke's surgeon who has painted all his life. He was taught by James Horton RBA and Jenny Sanders.
He paints mainly in oils and his work captures the light and colours of his subject matter in a naturalistic way. Subjects include local landscapes of Cambridge and France and Tuscany and he also
paints still-life compositions.
He has been a member of the Cambridge Drawing Society for 18 years and has also exhibited at The Whittlesford Gallery, near Cambridge and in St. Ives, Ely and Linton. His work has been exhibited at the Mall Gallery in London. His work can be seen in permanence at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
